We ’ re designing and building the new home from scratch . It ’ s quite an impressive sprawling property with most of the footprint on the first level , along with features like huge windows , cathedral ceilings , and modern details .
“ We ’ re also working on a project in Mamaroneck , New York ,” he adds . “ This is a shingle style coastal home , which will have a Western red cedar roof and wall shingles with a series of nested gables , a wraparound front porch , and extensive outdoor space with several terraces and patios .”
Having won several Home Building Industry ( HOBI ) awards since its inception , we ask Luigi for his reflections on these achievements . “ We ’ d like to thank HOBI for the job they have done and continue to do ,” he says . “ It ’ s a great event for the industry in Connecticut , and we are proud to have been recognized with ten HOBI awards since 2017 . Consistency and continued improvement from year to year has allowed us to continue to be a part of the awards .”
To end our conversation , Luigi looks to the future . “ For 2025 , we ’ ll be fully focused on our projects at hand while having an eye towards the future ,” he concludes . “ Being awarded or starting projects is only the beginning and is not the accomplishment ; successfully completing the projects is the goal and that takes work and dedication . It ’ s important to constantly look forwards and evolve , but we will do so carefully so that we don ’ t forget the core we ’ ve built over the last ten years .” ■
