The site presented us significant challenges, including the routing of utilities and constructing a driveway that stretches a third of a mile through rock outcroppings to situate the home on a rock ledge that overlooks the stunning Whitefish Mountain Range. Keeping the site accessible throughout the winter has proven challenging, with someone from our dedicated team plowing or sanding the driveway every day to ensure that our crews have safe access to the job site. We’ ve incorporated a variety of materials into the home; there’ s a significant amount of stone, timbers, glass, and steel elements. As the site was carved out of the rock ledge, we’ ve actively looked for opportunities to incorporate the natural rock outcroppings into the landscaping design.”
