diameter. The inside featured a free-floating radius staircase with period correct newel posts. These were custom built on a wood lathe by some of our expert carpenters.
“ We like to maintain relationships with our clients, even once the project is complete. In this instance, the homeowners went to the extent of purchasing all period correct furniture for the home as well. It’ s a really unbelievable feeling to step inside now, it’ s like you’ ve just walked back in time to the 1850s.”
From historical architecture to community-driven design, the company’ s latest project is a 55-and-up residential complex, which will be located in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Known as Silver Oaks, this property will comprise 23 individual units, interconnected by communal and outdoor spaces. Not only will the building itself be a new venture for Coyle Custom Homes, but the project marks the company’ s first foray into infrastructure planning and construction.
“ This project differs from the work we usually undertake,” Nathan shares,“ because we are also constructing the surrounding infrastructure. This means building roads, storm drains, water retention ponds, and waterlines from the top. I’ m really excited about this project and look forward to similar undertakings in the future.”
By continually expanding their expertise and diversifying the company’ s portfolio, Nathan and his team are positioning themselves for long-term success. In the coming years, Coyle Custom Homes is set to expand its custom home branch, while also developing new property types.
“ We want to continue trying new things and working for the betterment of the surrounding communities and businesses,” he concludes.“ We strive to create properties that allow all parties to prosper. Moving forward, that’ s going to remain our focus.” ■
