With most of its portfolio comprising luxury multi-family homes, Moceri Companies delivers a variety of projects, from manufactured housing to apartments and senior living, and is currently developing another 2000 units. Alongside building $ 3,000,000 plus custom homes, the company offers state-of-the-art grounds maintenance and unit maintenance. Its high-end‘ for lease’ communities generally provide local amenities, such as parks, fitness studios and clubhouses.
Representing the fourth generation of family legacy, partner Dominic F. Moceri first recognized his passion for building during his college internship with the business. He sits down with Modern Home Builders to tell us more about his role in the business and the exclusive projects presently on the agenda for Moceri Companies.“ I’ ve always known that I wanted to be a part of the family business,” he begins.“ I think the most satisfying part about being a homebuilder is watching those ideas that start as a cloud bubble in your head, take shape and come into fruition as a finished home. I enjoy all the strategy that goes into getting builds approved, working with the trades and the clients and ultimately constructing the homes. It’ s incredibly rewarding.”
Describing its competitive edge, Dominic highlights Moceri Companies’ three main areas of excellence – structure, integrity and tradition.“ Not only do we deliver award-winning architecture, but we’ re also fourth generation builders and we go by the book; we’ re not controversial in what we do,” he says.“ We work closely with communities and provide what’ s best for the neighborhood, while considering the housing needs for that market.”
Distinct communities
As the most awarded builder in Michigan, the group’ s impact on residential real estate has been deservedly recognized.“ Achieving multiple awards is a great testament to the work we’ ve completed in underutilized areas, where we’ ve really made a statement of them,” continues Dominic.“ Our in-house architect, Dominick Trigali, is tremendously talented – he was trained in Florence and has won numerous awards. He’ s been with Moceri Companies for 30 years and we’ re fortunate to work with him.”
Current projects include the 604-unit Clinton Township project, Montclair at Partridge Creek, which is in the final phase and has five different housing varieties and due to be fully completed at the end of 2027.
