“ I started out as a framing contractor 33 years ago on Long Island, building up quite a large business with multiple crews at our peak. Over the years, we transitioned into building homes ourselves, initially through a few joint ventures with some of our former partners, and we became a builder in our own right around 15 years ago. That is where our story really began,” he opens.
Today, the company operates across what amounts to the full spectrum of the Long Island market. On the more accessible end, the company builds for first-time buyers, with entry-level homes on Long Island currently starting at around $ 700,000 and ranging up to $ 1 million. From there, Modern Age moves into higher-end territory, with a strong presence on the North Fork and also operates across the South Fork and the Hamptons. Spot builds across Long Island fill out the rest of the portfolio, keeping the business active and varied throughout the year.
