“ The project underway in Avon-by-the- Sea is really exciting – a full-gut renovation of an early-1900s home just one block from the beach,” he adds.“ The property has had many lives over the years, most recently operating as a unique bed and breakfast. Our client purchased it with the vision of converting it back into a private residence. The project has required an especially meticulous approach. Our own crew spent more than 60 days carefully restoring and correcting the home’ s underlying structure, leveling floors and walls, reinforcing existing conditions, and creating a sound foundation for everything that follows. At the same time, we’ ve been able to preserve and integrate select original details, including some of the home’ s beautiful, patterned wood flooring.”
