Founded by Jim Spangler after his extensive career working for a large national homebuilder , Hidden Valley remains a family-owned-andoperated business . In the company ’ s early years , Jim was responsible for the building process and his wife looked after the interior design element , with an aim to build just one or two houses per year . Today , the business has multiple employees and completes anywhere between 20 and 60 homes per year , depending on location , style , and size .
