“ After decades of hands-on work, when he was in his 40s, Bruce’ s body began showing the toll of physical labor. By then, we had a full team in place, allowing him to transition to managing projects and handling estimates, until our retirement in 2008. We became snowbirds, wintering in Arizona while Bruce returned to work briefly during summers, until he finally embraced full retirement, leaving the business in Greg’ s capable hands. Under Greg’ s leadership, the company flourished and experienced continued growth, just as Bruce had hoped. With the knowledge that our grandson, Zachery, will soon be leading the business, Bruce was very pleased before he passed away. He always thought it would be great for a third generation to carry our legacy forward, so he left this world with a happy heart,” she reflects.
