This summer, AO, a leading full-service architecture firm with design expertise spanning multifamily and commercial real estate, opened Cloud House. This new residential community, developed by Bonanni Development, is a catalyst project for the City of Stanton, supporting its pro-development vision and addressing the region’ s growing demand for housing.

The five-story wrap development delivered 321 market-rate studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. The crown of the development is Orange County’ s largest rooftop Skydeck- a 17,500-square-foot space that showcases AO’ s architectural ingenuity. Strategically spanning

two distinct structural systems, a seven-story, Type-I concrete podium and a Type-III woodframed residential building, the Skydeck required an innovative design solution to unify the levels, uses, and materials. AO crafted a seamless, multi-layered experience with a custom stair connection that bridges the buildings, while accommodating a pool, fitness center, and clubhouse.

Hosting boutique-styled amenity zones including a jumbo movie screen, outdoor kitchen, hammock swings and fire pits, the Skydeck even offers panoramic views of Disneyland’ s nightly fireworks. ■ www. aoarchitects. com

Award-winning architecture, interior design, and construction firm Audax has opened its first US office in Palm Beach, Florida. This expansion marks a major milestone for the firm, coinciding with Founding Principal Gianpiero Pugliese receiving licensure to practice architecture in Florida.
