On a stretch of land where the shoreline meets open water in Oxford, Maryland, ILEX Construction( ILEX) recently completed a residential property designed around movement, gathering, and time spent outdoors. The project unfolds across 30 acres at Morgan’ s Point, where five separate buildings sit within a connected landscape of paths, open space, and water access. A main house anchors the site, with a guest house, two standalone garages, and a pool structure extending its use. Boat lifts line the pier, outdoor areas support dayto-day living, and each element ties back to a central idea defined by the client.
“ The owner wanted a property where he could host family and spend extended time together,” explains R. J. Cooper, President and
CEO.“ Their main goal was to bring everyone together in one place.” The project captures how ILEX Construction organizes its work. It translates a client’ s intentions into a built environment, coordinating across teams while managing schedule, scope, and delivery.
