“ ILEX was founded in the 1980s by Doug Croker. We started just north of Baltimore and grew one project at a time into a sizable business,” R. J. recalls. From its early years, ILEX established itself as a residential construction firm, and that focus continues today. The company leads construction and works closely with architects and consultants to deliver each project from planning through execution.“ We work with design teams wherever they are,” R. J. notes.
The firm chooses its regions carefully. ILEX has grown throughout the Mid-Atlantic but intentionally stays within its core markets. That decision connects to how projects are delivered.
