Current work follows a similar path. In McLean, Virginia, ILEX is preparing a residential addition focused on wellness. The project brings together elements that support daily routines, including indoor courts and fitness spaces.“ We are working on a large addition with indoor sports courts, a gym, steam and sauna rooms, including additional wellness spaces,” R. J. elaborates. At this stage, the work is in pre-construction, and ILEX is actively collaborating with architects and engineers as the project moves toward construction.
As its project portfolio grows, ILEX keeps refining its internal systems. The company is evaluating tools that support estimating, pre-construction planning, and financial management. These systems help the team coordinate across multiple projects and locations. They shape how teams track progress and manage information.“ The systems are significant investments from both an implementation and operational standpoint,” R. J. notes.
