At Pine Creek, Marc believes the responsibility should fall on the builder, not the homeowner. That is why the company is built on accountability, careful preparation, and taking ownership of the entire process.“ I wanted to make it a true company, not just an afterthought. We provide a full range of services to our clients. A lot of times, when we first meet a client, they ask us,‘ What do we need to do?’ And I just tell them,‘ You do not need to do anything. We provide everything for you,’” Marc shares.
Managed experiences
In an industry where homeowners often must coordinate vendors, track material deliveries, and juggle schedules, Pine Creek removes that complexity for clients. Clients can see project schedules, make selections, and receive updates through a shared platform. Trade partners, project managers, and homeowners always have the same information. Job sites are cleaned every day. During kitchen remodels, the team often sets up temporary kitchens so families can continue living at home. The goal is not just to build a house; it is to manage the whole experience.
Before he managed projects, Marc learned construction one job site at a time.“ I started doing construction when I was 13 years old. I have always worked with my hands. I still have the first toolbox I made when I was 13. I would ride my bike to job sites, carrying that toolbox in one hand,” he recalls.
What started as a teenage job grew into a career built on hands-on experience, a college degree in Construction Management and nearly 15 years of new home construction. By 2007, when Marc launched Pine Creek Construction, he had already spent years learning how projects succeed, where they stumble, and why communication often makes all the difference.
The timing was not perfect. The housing market was entering a tough period, and many entrepreneurs hesitated. Marc saw things differently.“ Starting a business during a downturn can be perceived as a risky endeavor, but I discovered that it can
