“ We came from a production background where we were used to building houses within four to six months, so nine months seems like a lot of extra time for us,” Tim explains.“ It all comes down to planning; while we’ re not building the same house repeatedly, we are using the same policies and practices with a consistent team of contractors. We have a very loyal subcontractor and supplier base that have become an extension of our family. We work with our trades to mentally build the house before we ever break ground. Some builders have a policy of never having more than one subcontractor on a job at the same time, but we purposely stack our main subcontractors so they can work through any issues onsite without causing delays.”

This really allows our subcontractors to focus on the production side rather than the billing.
