This philosophy shaped the company’ s recent Toms River waterfront home.“ This was a true designbuild project, where the homeowners hired us first and we assembled the design team around their goals and vision,” Lou details.
“ Architecturally, it’ s a traditional coastal shingle-style home, with painted cedar shingles, a cedar roof, copper standing-seam accents, custom window grille patterns, decorative brackets, and elegant gambrel rooflines. The backyard was designed as an extension of the home, with an infinity-edge pool, fire pit, expansive patio, outdoor kitchen, and multiple seating areas. Inside, there’ s a
strong level of architectural detail throughout, from custom wall paneling and millwork to a three-season room with stacking doors that completely open the interior to the outdoors.
The kitchen features custom cabinetry and rustic exposed ceiling beams, while the finished basement includes a golf simulator
that doubles as a movie screen alongside a warm, inviting lounge area. The primary suite has a true spa-like feel, including an outdoor shower located on the private bedroom balcony. We’ re extremely proud of how it all came together.”
